Blair Athol Distillery
Established in 1798 in the picturesque town of Pitlochry, Blair Athol is one of the oldest working distilleries in Scotland. The Distillery produces a 12 Year Old Single Malt Whisky with a strong fruity flavour and a smooth finish.
Saturday 4th April to Saturday 31st October:

Open Bank Holiday Sunday 3rd May and 24th May from 12noon - 5pm also.

Adult admission charge of £5.00 includes a discount voucher, redeemable in our well stocked distillery shop towards the purchase of a 70cl bottle of malt whisky. Children under 8 years are welcome but are not admitted to the production areas. Free car parking available. Large groups and coach parties by appointment only.
Location
Pitlochry is situated next to the A9 about 25 miles north of Perth. Blair Athol Distillery and Visitor Centre is located on the Southern Edge of Pitlochry about half a mile from the town centre.
From the South
Leave the A9 dual carriageway (Perth-Inverness road) at the junction sign-posted for Pitlochry. Exit the dual carriageway to the left and follow the slip road down under the fly over and continue on the A924 towards Pitlochry. The distillery sits approximately 1 mile from the dual carriageway exit, on the right hand side of the road, opposite the BP filling station.
From the North
Leave the A9 to the left at the sign-post for Pitlochry (before the A9 bridges across Loch Faskally). Continue on this slip road for approximately ¾ mile. Halt at the T-Junction, then turn left, towards Pitlochry (approx. one mile).
Entering Pitlochry on Atholl Road, continue straight down this road until you are passed all the shops and hotels. At the southern end of Atholl Road you will pass under the railway bridge. The distillery sits approx 500 yards down Perth Road on the left hand side. The car park is opposite the BP filling station.
From the North East (Braemar etc)
Follow directions from Moulin village to Pitlochry, travelling on the West Moulin Road. At the T-Junction with Atholl Road, turn left on to Atholl Road. From here follow directions for “From the North” above.
By Rail
Pitlochry Railway Station is situated at the north end of town. There is a Taxi rank at the Station, however the distillery approximately a 20 minute walk. Follow the road from the Railway Station up onto Atholl Road, turn right and continue straight down this road until you are passed all the shops and hotels. At the southern end of Atholl Road you will pass under the railway bridge. The distillery sits approx 500 yards down Perth Road on the left hand side.
By Air
Edinburgh Airport is approximately a one and a half hours drive from Pitlochry, avoiding peak travel times.
Glasgow Airport is approximately a two and a quarter hour drive from Pitlochry, avoiding peak travel times.
